Data we collect

The contact form collects your name, email address, chosen subject and message so Prepinson can answer your request.

Purpose and legal basis

We use your contact details to handle your request: steps at your request before a contract (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR) or our legitimate interest in responding to general enquiries (Article 6(1)(f)). Required fields are needed to reply; without them the form cannot be sent. Newsletter delivery relies on your separate consent (Article 6(1)(a)). Contacting us never subscribes you to the newsletter. We do not profile visitors or make automated decisions about them.

Service providers

The static site is hosted by Netlify. Contact requests and newsletter subscriptions are processed through Netlify Forms. The Instagram feed on the home page is retrieved by our server and displayed using images hosted on our site. Instagram receives no request from your browser unless you open a post. Booking and map services open only after you choose their links.

The newsletter separately collects your email address, consent, language, consent version and source page. It is used only when you actively consent to receive news from Prepinson.

Your rights

You can request access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability of your data, where applicable, and object to processing based on legitimate interests. Withdraw newsletter consent at any time, without affecting earlier lawful processing, by writing to haras@prepinson.com. We respond normally within one month. You may also complain to the Belgian Data Protection Authority.

Language preference

When you choose a language, Prepinson stores only that language code in the first-party session cookie prepinson-language. It is used to remember your choice during your browsing session, never to track you. You can change it with the language selector or delete it in your browser. No analytics or advertising cookies are used.

Retention periods

Enquiries that do not lead to a contract are kept for up to 24 months after the last exchange, then deleted. Newsletter data is kept until you withdraw your consent, or for up to 24 months without an active interaction from you. If a contract is concluded, records needed for accounting, legal obligations or a dispute are retained separately for the applicable period, with restricted access.

Access and international transfers

Only authorised Prepinson staff and service providers acting on its instructions can access form data. Netlify may process it outside the European Economic Area, including in the United States. Its data processing agreement provides transfer safeguards, including European Commission standard contractual clauses. Hosting security logs can include IP addresses and technical request information. No visitor analytics or advertising tracking is added to this site.

Booking and external services

Bookings are made on the linked platforms, under their own conditions and privacy policies. Maps, Instagram and booking platforms are not embedded: they only receive a visit when you follow an external link.
